Road Rally Instructions

A road rally is a predetermined course navigated using point to point mileage or the amount of time it takes to get from one point to the next or by using landmarks or a combination of all of the above. For this Rally we will be using point to point mileage with land marks used to verify you are on course.

Example: Turn right on Hwy 1, drive 4.6 miles & turn right, drive 15.4 miles & turn left.

The scavenger hunt will be integral part of the Rally; you will be looking for a feature on a landmark which will let you know you are on course. We will try to have a landmark within the 1st ½ mile after a turn to let you know you’re on the right track. There will be a lot of landmarks to find along the way so you will need to keep your eyes open, you will get points for everyone you find.

Example: Turn right on Hwy 1, drive 4.6 miles & turn right, (reset trip Odometer)

What is the name on the Red Barn on your left __________________?

Drive 15.4 miles & turn left, (reset trip Odometer)

What kind of gas is sold at the 1st gas station on your right_____________________?

Note Mileage is read POINT TO POINT or TURN to TURN NOT From a point to a landmark

This will not be a twist & turn course it’s meant to be an enjoyable ride with a little challenge for fun. So Buckle up & enjoy the ride

This is a Man’s kind of event because you don’t have to stop & ask Directions if you’re lost because you don’t know where you’re going any way.
